Rajaurisaurus was named by Sahni and Srivastava (1976) [also listed on the same page as "Rajaurisauris," but this is clearly a lapsus calami]. It is not extant. Its type is Rajaurisaurus estesi.

It was assigned to Anguidae by Sahni and Srivastava (1976).
