Effigia okeeffeae
Taxonomy
Effigia okeeffeae was named by Nesbitt and Norell (2006). It is not extant. Its type specimen is AMNH 30587. Its type locality is Ghost Ranch Quarry, which is in a Rhaetian crevasse splay siltstone/conglomerate in the Chinle Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Effigia.
