Tubulodon atopum
Taxonomy
Alocodon atopum was named by Rose et al. (1978) ["genotype"]. It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Elk Creek (400 m), which is in a Wasatchian terrestrial horizon in the Willwood Formation of Wyoming. It is the type species of Alocodontulum.
It was recombined as Alocodontulum atopum by Rose et al. (1978); it was recombined as Tubulodon atopum by Rose et al. (1991), Rose and Lucas (2000).
