Solitivicia reducta
Taxonomy
Solitivicia reducta was named by Criscione-Vastano and Grimaldi (2025). Its type specimen is VMNH 51992, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Solite Quarries (VMNH collection), which is in a Norian lacustrine - small shale in the Cow Branch Formation of North Carolina. It is the type species of Solitivicia.
