Oligopteryx floridanus
Taxonomy
Oligopteryx floridanus was named by Morgan and Czaplewski (2023). Its type specimen is UF 157769, a mandible (right dentary fragment with p2, p4-m1), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Brooksville 2, which is in an Arikareean fissure fill claystone/sandstone in Florida. It is the type species of Oligopteryx.
