Taxonomy
Indolucina durgae was named by Fürsich et al. (2000). Its type specimen is BHU19981, a valve (right valve), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Astarte Bed, near Kanthkot Village, which is in an Oxfordian marine sandstone in the Wagad Sandstone Formation of India. It is the type species of Indolucina.
