Cooper 2016Medium-sized, inequivalve, subtrapezoidal, longer than high, with small insignificant umbones, weakly-convex anterior margin, obliquely-subtruncate respiratory margin and long straight posterodorsal margin; escutcheon relatively broad, shallowly sunken, with beaded commarginal growth rugae; inner carina beaded in early growth, later with prominent transverse nodes; broad, flat, inclined, bipartite area with beaded median carina and finely- beaded radial threads in early growth, giving way to wavy commarginal rows of beads in middle growth and finally irregular growth rugae; RV with broad robust marginal carina with prominent well-spaced transverse nodes; marginal carina of LV narrow, with small nodes that evanesce in later growth; RV with very narrow antecarinal sulcus, that of LV broad and shallow; strong, bold, commarginal flank costae, narrower than interspaces, terminating posteriorly in incipient to distinct nodes.
