Lecanopleura punctata
Taxonomy
Lecanopleura punctata was named by Rasetti (1946) [Lecanopleura? punctata]. Its type specimen is Laval Univ. 1026 a-c and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is G-28 Grosse-Roches, Gaspé Peninsula, which is in a Marjumian carbonate limestone in the Grosses-Roches Formation of Canada.
