Taxonomy
Orthocis vilhelmseni was named by Legalov and Perkovsky (2024). Its type specimen is NHMD 153508, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Danish Amber (University of Copenhagen ZMUC, NHMD Collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Denmark.
