Taxonomy
Micmacca schwarzbachi was named by Richter and Richter (1941). Its type specimen is SMF X1235a-d, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Acanthomicmacca (Acanthomicmacca) schwarzbachi by Geyer (2016).
