Taxonomy
Asaphiscus monkei was named by Kobayashi (1935). Its type specimen is PA1160 (lectotype), a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Pseudoliostracina monkei by Kobayashi (1962); it was recombined as Parachangshania monkei by Park and Choi (2011).
