Paranacaiman bravardi
Taxonomy
Paranacaiman bravardi was named by Bona et al. (2024). Its type specimen is MACN-Pv 13551, a partial skull (partial skull table), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Parana, Pueblo Brugo to Diamante, Ituzaingo Fm., which is in a Huayquerian marine sandstone/mudstone in the Ituzaingo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Paranacaiman.
