Taxonomy
Olenus triarthrus was named by Callaway (1877). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Shineton, which is in a Tremadoc offshore shale in the Shineton Shales Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Parabolinella triarthra by Henningsmoen (1957), Monti and Confalonieri (2013).
