Taxonomy
Burmecaelinus armis was named by Uchida et al. (2023). Its type specimen is UMUT MA33905, a nymph, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Burmese amber, Kachin amber (UMUT Tokyo collection), which is in a Cenomanian terrestrial amber in Myanmar.
