Taxonomy

Lithacoceras soucadeauxi was named by Collignon (1959). It is not extant. Its type specimen is UBGD.010387. Its type locality is Couche No 6 de la coupe du lit du Sikily (Manera), which is in a Kimmeridgian marine marl in Madagascar.

It was recombined as Subdiscosphinctes soucadeauxi by Geiger and Schweigert (2006).
