Thomelites eguituriense

Taxonomy
Pseudocalycoceras equituriense was named by Thomel (1972). Its type specimen is Thoml éch. 17875 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Les Lattes (A.-M.), which is in a Cenomanian/Cenomanian marine marl in the Saint Laurent Marl Formation of France.

It was recombined as Pseudocalycoceras (Pseudocalycoceras) eguituriense by Thomel (1972); it was corrected as Pseudocalycoceras eguituriense by Matsumoto and Kawano (1975); it was recombined as Thomelites equituriense by Cooper (1978); it was recombined as Thomelites eguituriense by Kennedy et al. (1981).
