Taxonomy
Asiatosuchus oenotriensis was named by Narváez et al. (2024). Its type specimen is STUS 12064, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Corrales del Vino, which is in a Lutetian alluvial fan horizon in the Corrales Formation of Spain.
