Taxonomy
Lindenia heeri was named by Boderau et al. (2024). Its type specimen is ETH S.N. 228, a forewing, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Oeningen (Zurich collection), which is in a Sarmatian crater lake limestone in the Upper Freshwater-Molasse Formation of Germany.
