Taxonomy
Zhangpumazus sheni was named by Luo et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NIGP 179701, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Zhangpu amber, which is in a Langhian terrestrial amber in China. It is the type species of Zhangpumazus.
