Taxonomy
Pholadella peregrina was named by Beushausen (1895). Its type specimen is MB.M 6631.1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Koblenz, which is in an Emsian estuary/bay siltstone in the Nellenköpfchen Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Amlerella peregrina by Franke (2016).
