Taxonomy
Parascylloides turnerae was named by Thies et al. (2014). Its type specimen is NKP 3972, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Barnstone railway cutting, which is in a Rhaetian coastal siliciclastic in the Westbury Formation of the United Kingdom.
