Venetoraptor gassenae
Taxonomy
Venetoraptor gassenae was named by Müller et al. (2023). Its type specimen is CAPPA/UFSM 0356, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Buriol, which is in a Carnian terrestrial horizon in the Santa Maria Formation of Brazil. It is the type species of Venetoraptor.
