Ypsiloichthys sibelleae
Taxonomy
Ypsiloichthys sibelleae was named by El Hossny and Cavin (2023). Its type specimen is MHNG GEPI V5786, a skeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Hjoula (MHNG collection), which is in a Cenomanian carbonate lime mudstone in the Sannine Formation of Lebanon. It is the type species of Ypsiloichthys.
