Calvarius rapidus

Taxonomy
Calvarius rapidus was named by Prieto-Márquez and Sellés (2023). Its type specimen is MCD-8734, a limb element (a left metatarsal IV), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Masia de Ramón [Talarn Fm.], which is in a Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone/marl in the Talarn Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Calvarius.
