Huerfanodon polecatensis
Taxonomy
Huerfanodon polecatensis was named by Schoch and Lucas (1981). Its type specimen is PU 14718, a mandible (right dentary fragment with P3-M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rock Bench Quarry, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial horizon in Wyoming.
