Rubroceras alatum
Taxonomy
Rubroceras alatum was named by Cobban et al. (1989). Its type specimen is USNM 425417 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic D10527, Little Burro Mountains, which is in a Cenomanian marine shale in the Colorado Formation of New Mexico. It is the type species of Rubroceras.
