Xiang 1998 | A genus of Cyrtosymbolinae Hupe, 1953 with the following characteristic combination of features : Glabella subcylindrical to cylindrical in outline, slightly inflated between palpebral lobes, weakly constricted across rr , broadly rounded anteriorly, with 3 pairs of faint glabellar furrows; occipital ring slightly narrowing laterally, without occipital lobe; preglabellar field concave, narrow (sag.) or absent; anterior border narrow and upturned; palpebral lobes moderately long to long, placed posteriorly; anterior branches of facial sutures long , gently to strongly divergent forward, posterior branches of facial sutures with short straight sections E; - S ; pygidium long, with narrower distinctly demarcated border; axis long and narrow, with 10-16 axial rings and a short postaxial ridge; pleural area relatively broad (tr.) and flat, with 8-11 pairs of pleural ribs, of which anterior and posterior bands are equally developed ; pleural furrows deep, interpleural furrows narrow and shallow; border furrow narrow and distinct. |
