Paleodechenella turkestanica

Taxonomy
Paleodechenella turkestanica was named by Ivanova et al. (2009). Its type specimen is MGCU 26/977, a cephalon/head, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 22/315, 22/345. Isfara River, which is in a Ludfordian carbonate limestone in the Isfara Formation of Tajikistan.

Ivanova et al. 2009Paleodechenella with frontal glabellar lobe transverse; S1 dies out before reaching occipital furrow; marked intramarginal zone separating border and epiborder furrows, which are both weak; pygidium elongate, with 13–14 axial rings; pleural fields with five or six pairs of ribs, those behind second pair progressively more effaced.
