Taxonomy
Hamiroproetus hamiro was named by Šnajdr (1977). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cisarsky Quarry, Zlaty Kun Massif, which is in a Pragian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Koneprusy Limestone Formation of Czechia. It is the type species of Hamiroproetus.
