Navajosphenodon sani
Taxonomy
Navajosphenodon sani was named by Simões et al. (2022). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Museum of Northern Arizona, MNA.V.12442, a skeleton. Its type locality is Gold Spring Quarry 1 (MNA, MCZ, TMM 45609), which is in a Sinemurian/Pliensbachian floodplain claystone in the Kayenta Formation of Arizona. It is the type species of Navajosphenodon.
