Taxonomy
Cycloscytina incompleta was named by Chen et al. (2022). Its type specimen is NIGP05219, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Daohugou (NIGP collection), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large shale in the Daohugou Formation of China.
