Taxonomy
Anhelkocephalon handlirschi was named by Bill (1914). It is a mold. Its type locality is Papiermühle, Wasselnheim, which is in an Aegean delta plain sandstone in the Grès à Voltzia Formation of France. It is the type species of Anhelkocephalon.
