Taxonomy
Corydalis vetusta was named by Oppenheim (1888). It is an impression. Its type locality is Solnhofen (BSPGM Munich coll), which is in a Tithonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Solnhofen Formation of Germany.
It was considered a nomen nudum by Hagen (1862); it was recombined as Corydalus vetustus by Martins et al. (2022).
