Vallisodus coppi
Taxonomy
Vallisia coppi was named by Duffin (1982). Its type specimen is BRSMG Cc400, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hapsford Bridge, Vallis Vale, which is in a Rhaetian marginal marine claystone in the Westbury Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Vallisia, Vallisodus.
It was recombined as Vallisodus coppi by Duffin (2021).
