Euphylloceras californicum

Taxonomy
Phylloceras californicum was named by Anderson (1938). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 1569, East branch of Hulen (=Huling) Creek, which is in an Aptian/Albian marine horizon in the Budden Canyon Formation of California.

It was recombined as Hypophylloceras californicum by McLearn (1972); it was recombined as Euphylloceras californicum by Murphy and Rodda (2006) and Matsukawa (2021).
