Helioproetus carintiacus
Taxonomy
Proetus carintiacus was named by Drevermann (1901) ["Proetus" (?) carintiacus]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Plöckenhauses bei Kötschach, which is in a Famennian carbonate limestone in the Pal Grande Formation of Austria.
It was recombined as Typhloproetus carintiacus by Richter and Richter (1926); it was recombined as Helioproetus carintiacus by Feist (1992), Feist et al. (2000).
