Peltorhamphus fordycei
Taxonomy
Achirus fordycei was named by Schwarzhans (1980). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Waipara River Horseshoe, downstream, which is in a Lillburnian/Waiauan marine horizon in the Double Corner Shellbed Formation of New Zealand.
It was recombined as Peltorhamphus fordycei by Schwarzhans (2019).
