Taxonomy
Laeops undulatus was named by Schwarzhans (2019). Its type specimen is CM 2003.123.152, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Glenafric, which is in a Lillburnian/Waiauan marine horizon in New Zealand.
