Rhynchoconger otapiriensis
Taxonomy
Otolithus (Congridarum) otapiriensis was named by Frost (1934). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Otapiri Creek, which is in a Chattian marine marl in New Zealand.
It was recombined as Gnathophis otapiriensis by Schwarzhans (1980); it was recombined as Rhynchoconger otapiriensis by Schwarzhans et al. (2017) and Schwarzhans (2019).
