Macrurulus fordycei
Taxonomy
Macrurulus fordycei was named by Schwarzhans (2019). Its type specimen is OU 22898, an otolith, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Otaio River Gorge, which is in a Waipawan/Mangaorapan marine sandstone in the Otaio Gorge Sandstone Formation of New Zealand.
