Taxonomy
Pseudocryphaeus ogivalis was named by Morzadec (1976). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Uppermost Faou Fmn and Reun ar C'Hrank Fmn, Rade de Brest, Massif Armoricain, which is in an Emsian marine shale/sandstone in the Reun Ar C'Hrank Formation of France.
It was recombined as Braunops ogivalis by Lieberman and Kloc (1997); it was recombined as Gandlops ogivalis by Bignon and Crônier (2013).
