Taxonomy
Ejinoproetus ovatus was named by Zhou et al. (2000). Its type specimen is XIG TR444 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is B015. Zhusilenghaierhan area, which is in an Emsian marine sandstone in the Zhusileng Formation of China.
