It was Gerastos (Bohemiproetus) by Pillet (1927), Šnajdr (1980); it was Coniproetus (Bohemiproetus) by Lutke (1990); it was synonymized subjectively with Coniproetus by Lieberman (1994); it was reranked as Bohemiproetus by Jell and Adrain (2002), Sepkoski (2002), Van Viersen and Prescher (2008).
