Taxonomy
Dinarites (Plococeras) subdalmatinus was named by Buriy and Zharnikova (1981). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Chernyshev Bay, Russkiy Island (beds with Tirolites ussuriensis), which is in a Spathian marine horizon in the Schmidt Formation of the Russian Federation.
