Taxonomy
Groebericeras baileyi was named by Imlay and Jones (1970). Its type specimen is USNM 158834 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is USGS Mesozoic loc. M2024, Middle Fork of Elder Creek, which is in a Tithonian marine sandstone in California.
