Taxonomy

Hauericeras angustum was named by Yabe (1904).

It was recombined as Hauericeras (Gardeniceras) angustum by Matsumoto (1959).

Sister species lacking formal opinion data

H. antiqum, H. durga, H. madagascariense, H. meridionale

Synonyms

Hauericeras mickeyi was named by Anderson (1958). Its type specimen is CAS 27835.02, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 27835, Chico Creek, which is in a Santonian marine sandstone/shale in the Chico Formation of California.

It was synonymized subjectively with Hauericeras (Gardeniceras) angustum by Matsumoto (1959).
