Ataktobatis variabilis

Taxonomy
Ataktobatis variabilis was named by Cappetta and Corral (1999). Its type specimen is MCNA 8267, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Albaina-LaƱo quarry, which is in a Maastrichtian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal grainstone in the Torme Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Ataktobatis.
