Taxonomy
Repossia tenuis was named by Fantini Sestini (1996). Its type specimen is MCSNB 9413 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Val Parina, S1060E, which is in an Illyrian perireef or subreef limestone in the Esino Formation of Italy.
