Nymphites sibiricus
Taxonomy
Mesonymphes sibiricus was named by Ponomarenko (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 1989/52, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Baissa (PIN collection 1989), which is in an Aptian lacustrine - large siltstone/marl in the Zaza Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was recombined as Nymphites sibiricus by Archibald and Makarkin (2020).
