Alexahymen aestatis
Taxonomy
Aspidothorax aestatis was named by Brauckmann (1991). Its type specimen is Wuppertal Museum Coll. G. Sommer, a wing (right wing), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Piesberg quarry, "Flöz Zweibänke" (Museum Wuppertal collection), which is in a Westphalian D lacustrine deltaic claystone in Germany.
It was recombined as Alexahymen aestatis by Pecharová et al. (2020).
